When roused I'm sure Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff would be strong opponent's (it's my personal opinion that the latter would be terrifying if she ever lost her temper). But their core values and strengths lend themselves less well to combat than Godrics and Salazar's. So they're unlikely to triumph. More detail is needed to establish whether Slytherin or Gryffindor would triumph however. In an unplanned four way duel with restrictions on using Dark magic Godric walks away victorious. Give Salazar time to plan his strategy and lift the restrictions on using forbidden magic and Godric would lose. Gryffindor is the strongest duelist of the four by far. But Salazar is the better strategist by nearly the same degree, he can use unconventional methods to great effect. Whatever the situation is one of them will emerge victorious. Ravenclaws greater range of knowledge translates more poorly into combat skill. And Hufflepuff is hamstrung by her sense of fair play from the word go.
I may be biased, but Hufflepuff is the best house. For one thing, we’re extremely loyal. You need someone to have your back, we’ll do that (as long as it’s justified.)
